Find the derivative $\;\;\;\frac{d}{dx}\left(\frac{7x-8}{2x+1}\right)$

**Answer**

$\;\;\;\frac{d}{dx}\left(\frac{7x-8}{2x+1}\right)$

$=\frac{(7)(2x+1)-(7x-8)(2)}{(2x+1)^2}$

$=\frac{(14x+7)-(14x-16)}{(2x+1)^2}$

$=\frac{23}{(2x+1)^2}$
